David N. Hastings, MD
Dr. Hastings received his undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and his medical degree from LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport. He completed an internship and four year residency at LSU Medical Center, Shreveport where he served as Chief Resident from 1985-1986.
Dr. Hastings began private practice in 1986 in Baton Rouge. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Hastings is a member of the East Baton Rouge Parish Medical Society, the Louisiana State Medical Society, the American Medical Association, the American Urological Association and the American Association of Clinical Urologists.
He's very understanding, and he explains so you can get the full knowledge on what's going on with your bladder and everything else. He treats you so you can get better and feel better.
When Dr. Carter retired, I needed a new Urologist. I'm glad I found Dr. Hastings. He is very knowledgeable, kind, and personable. He always asks questions pertaining to my medical history for the year, and seems genuinely concerned with my wellbeing. His diagnosis is always spot on. Dr Hastings always takes time with my visit. I never feel like he is rushing to see the next patient, and that is important to me.
