Robert S. Taylor, MD
Dr. Taylor received his undergraduate degree, graduating cum laude, from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and his medical degree from LSU Medical Center in New Orleans. He served a two-year residency in general surgery at the LSU Medical Center and his urology residency was completed at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Taylor began private practice in 1987 in Baton Rouge. He is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Urological Association the American Association of Clinical Urologist, the American Medical Association, Louisiana State Medical Society and the East Baton Rouge Parish Medical Society.
Dr. Taylor performed a biopsy of my prostate due to an elevated P.S.A. High grade prostate cancer was the outcome. Dr. Taylor has been taking care of Ime for this as well as bladder cancer. I think extremely highly of Dr. Taylor and am grateful to be one of his patients.
